History:

Basstrix Lure Co was established in 1995 by Bruce Porter. Bruce is a premier lure creator and innovator in the swimbait world. Bruce is still a part of the company and strictly focuses on Research and Development for future products.

In 2021, it was time for Basstrix to again innovate with the angling experience and fresh perspective of CEO Brian Evans.  Evans will guide the company into the future of the sport of fishing. While continuing to manufacture previous models from the past, the company will focus on new models, techniques and innovation to develop exciting new products . "We are venturing into technologies that have never been done before in the fishing lure industry. Our goal is to make fishing lures that do one thing for anglers of all skill levels: catch more and bigger fish. As we move forward, our focus is based on quality control, realism, and functional unique actions that trigger fish to bite."  Basstrix will continue to manufacture every bait hand made one at a time in the USA.
